Have you complied with the Law?

New fire regulation laws came into effect on 1st October 2006. They replaced the Fire Precautions Act 1971 and the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997 (Amended 1999).

What does it mean for your business? Simply, it means that you are responsible for Fire Safety matters in your premises. This includes Fire Risk Assessments, Emergency Fire Action Plans and Staff/ Fire Warden Training in Fire-fighting techniques and safe Evacuation procedures.

For more details, see the current fire regulation laws. Click on Scottish Law above.
